Clarification of transit coverage limits, carrier liabilities, and customer declaration responsibilities for household goods, bikes, and cars.
- Carrier liability commences exclusively upon completion of inventory sign-off and loading onto verified transport vehicles.
- Third-party transit insurance coverage must be opted and confirmed in writing prior to shipment dispatch. Without dedicated transit insurance, claims are limited to standard carrier liability per consignment note terms.
- Metro Logistics is not liable for structural internal electronic failures, pre-existing mechanical defects, normal road vibration wear, or acts of God (force majeure including severe weather, flooding, and state-mandated road closures).
- Vehicles (cars and motorcycles) are transported strictly subject to pre-loading physical condition inspection sheets recording all prior scratches, dents, and fuel levels.
Important Note: Official service guarantees and delivery dates are confirmed on the physical consignment bill issued during pickup from Gurgaon.
